Conduct ESOL and GED Programs
- Many immigrants have faced and are facing with the problem of making communication, integrating in the society they have come to live in and finding gainful employment and lead a stable life mainly because of their limited English proficiency and lack of high school diploma.
- In order to address these problems the ECSDC conducts ESOL and GED programs for academic enrichment purposes, to help immigrants to improve their day-to-day conversational English and to bring about substantial change in their performance as well as to help them build confidence.
- The is promoted through a variety of educational and entertainment activities including reading, writing, grammar, everyday conversational English, listening and watching audio and video cassettes, games, quizzes, and field trips to parks and malls.
